South West England

Beautiful landscapes, rugged coastlines and wide open spaces characterise England’s South West.  Made up of Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, this region’s 9,200 square miles is truly special, boasting everything from Stonehenge to Bath Spa, honey colour Cotswold villages to beautiful Cornish beaches.  In truth, it’s got something for everyone, which is why 22.5 million visitors worldwide descend on the region each year.  Foodies go south for the Devonshire cream tea, Cornish pastries and multitude of Michelin-starred restaurants.  Eco-enthusiasts head straight for the Eden Project.  While music lovers go to Glastonbury in June.  And then there are the walkers, cyclists and surfers who all descend on the region’s 1,000km of coastline, which features some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery – such as the Jurassic Coast.
