Bristol Dragon Boat Festival
We recently took part in the Bristol Dragon Boat Festival. The team was called 'Sue's Bloomers' as we did a joint fundraiser for Sue Ryder Care and the Barchester Foundation. Our activities wonder-woman Glynis made bloomers for the whole team and we managed to come 7th out of 20 teams, which was fab!
Helen Bennett BA (Hons) R N Dip H E Nursing - General Manager
As the manager of Bloomfield, Helen is responsible for all aspects of the home including leadership of staff. Helen aims to ensure the highest level of care is given to our residents and that all their needs and desires are met.
Julie Hankey & Karen Atkins - Administrators
Having a close relationship with the general manager, Julie and Karen ensure the home runs smoothly. They keep on top of home budgeting, resident admissions and personal files, along with many other duties.
Julie Cotterill - Hotel Services Manager
Julie is responsible for managing the Ancillary Team.
Tony Chinakidzwa - Clinical Manager
Tony's duties include supporting GM and Deputy GM and managing a large clinical team
Jacek Binienda - Head Chef
Jacek ensures that our residents are given the choice of nutritionally balanced, wholesome meals as and when they require them. Ordering local, fresh and seasonal ingredients, she creates exciting menus that will cater for individual desires. Our kitchen
Ian Wenlock - Maintenance
Ian ensures all aspects of the home are in fully working order. He works closely within the team to fix, as promptly as possible, any problems that may occur
Jane Rogers - Activities Co-ordinator
June manages a small, enthusiastic team. The team works together to provide exciting and popular activities for our residents. Day-to-day activities range from bingo and arts and crafts to pampering sessions and massage.
