Our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and organising appropriate activities. Mealtimes here are a very social occasion with residents enjoying complementary drinks. We also have a coffee lounge where our residents can enjoy quality time with their family and friends. Mount Tryon - 70 years of being hopelessly in love
On Wednesday 30th March 2011 William and Dorothy Menzies celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary with champagne and cakes at Mount Tryon. Bill and Dorothy married at St Lukes Church, Clapham South in 1941 and as Dorothy's family were hoteliers, they were lucky to hold their reception there despite the war. They had been told that the Olde Oak Cafe in Newbury had rations of cream and butter so they spent 2 days there for their honeymoon before going to Bournemouth. Dorothy says, they have had a wonderful marriage and have been hopelessly in love for 70 years.
