Marriott House and Lodge Care Home

Welcome to an oasis of care and support within the tranquility of the historic Chichester city walls
The Marriotts is situated in the heart of Chichester enjoying views of the Cathedral and with easy, level access to the shops, theatre, café's and churches.
We are proud of our village-style community promoting independence within a safe environment by offering the support of residential care in the Lodge or, if your needs change, first-class 24-hour nursing care in the House. Of course you'll be just as welcome to move directly in Marriott House if your immediate need is for nursing care
Our award winning gardens allow our residents to enjoy a high standard of outdoor living in the summer months. They can play bowls; enjoy cream teas, annual fete and numerous other daily activities providing stimulation in a great environment. Our sensory garden is a new addition which has proved both beautiful and energising.
The Marriott team of highly-qualified, attentive staff pride themselves on caring for not only the resident but also the families who find it difficult when a loved one requires that extra support.
You'll find we're ideally suited to meet a wide range of care needs, from simply helping with day to day living through to complex care requirements.
Come and see us and stay for a coffee. You'll be very welcome

Valentine's Day at The Marriotts
We have been building up to celebrate Valentine's Day at Marriott House by making decorations in the art and craft sessions. Today we have decorated our dining room with the decorations, made heart shaped cookies as part of activities and this afternoon we were entertained by a brilliant entertainer. A good day has been had by all!

Remembrance Day
Marriott House and Lodge remembered all those who have been lost in conflict by releasing 78 red balloons with significant messages attached written by all the residents. This was done to coincide with the two minutes silence.
Guy Fawkes Celebrations
At The Marriotts residents enjoyed an alternative Guy Fawkes celebration with a Best Guy competition and sparklers and mulled wine in the garden after dark.
Halloween Pumpkins
Residents at Marriott House made some brilliant pumpkins for Halloween.

The Marriotts scoops garden recognition
On Thursday 6th October Marriott House and Lodge was very proud to be invited to the finals of the Barchester in Bloom competition held at the botanical gardens in Birmingham. We achieved a highly commended award and three staff members were treated to a lunch with Charlie Dimmock. The following Monday we were invited to the Chichester Residents and Business Garden Competition gala award evening where we were presented with 2nd place for our newly developed sensory garden.
