MIDDLETOWN TWIST AGAIN!
What a fantastic afternoon with residents, families and staff dancing and singing along to familiar tunes from decades gone by, played on the keyboard by Tony, one of our regular entertainers here at Middletown. The Rock & Roll section brought many to their feet and there was plenty finger and toe tapping to boot!!! Thank you to everyone for making this such a fun and memorable afternoon for our lovely residents.

Wantage Male Voice Choir
Waltzing Middletown - What a treat for us here at Middletown Grange when the Wantage Male Voice Choir popped in for the afternoon. A couple of our residents were overjoyed to sing once again with old friends, them having been in the choir some years ago. The finale was when the choir donned their straw hats with hanging corks to sing 'Waltzing Matilda'. We are so looking forward to a return visit from them later in the year.

Middletown's all flagged out
Everyone loves a wedding and a royal wedding tops the lot! Here at Middletown Grange preparations started a week or two before our themed day of 'Kings and Queens'. Why buy, when you can have all the fun of making, and that's exactly what we did, hand-made bunting, miles of it, dozens of flags and a crown and tiara for everyone to wear. In the morning over breakfast our residents watched the bunting and flags go up all over out the home - a mass of red, white and blue! We all gathered in the lounges to watch the pomp and ceremony and have lunch.

Pat-a-dog service
Here at Middletown Grange, we adore having visitors, and none get a warmer welcome that canine visitors! David, our General Manager, often brings in his own dogs Tess and Carly and for some time we were visited by Freddy our Pat-A-Dog volunteer. It was with great disappointment that we said goodbye with Freddy when he moved with his owner volunteer to St Ives in Cornwall. We wish both of them a very happy retirement! However, what excitement this week when we met our new Pat-A-Dog an adorable Spaniel called Missy.
