Elisabeth Parker - Village Manager
As Village Manager Elisabeth’s role changes from day to day, she was involved prior to the village opening and spent a lot of time finalising procedures, recruiting staff and training them. Since the Village has opened, her day usually starts by checking her email, we have a stand up meeting at 9.15am for all Heads of Department to share information about what happened the day before and what is coming up in the next few days. She is responsible for ensuring that all standards set within the village are maintained through liaison with all the Heads of Department. During the rest of the day, she could be doing anything from budget meetings, to residents coffee mornings, staff training, liaison with local care providers and businesses, etc.
Anthony Lee - Administrator
Anthony’s role as Administration Manager is very varied. He is responsible for the day to day running of the Reception area and Administration office. On the Reception side this involves ensuring that our Residents get the best possible Customer Service and that we exceed their expectations wherever possible and on the Administration side it includes things such as ensuring that the Administration office runs smoothly and efficiently, making sure that all deadlines are met relating to the accounts and payroll and that all resident and staff queries are answered within an acceptable time frame.
Gill Hunt – Domiciliary Care Manager
Gill is responsible for the Domiciliary Care Team within the Village and has to adhere to the care standards and requirements to maintain the rating given by CQC after inspection. The role includes the supervision of all staff and maintaining morale, including regular staff meetings to ensure a good healthy working relationship. She is involved in pre-assessment of residents and ensuring that they receive the highest level of care whilst living within the village.
Martin Evans – Restaurant Manager
Martin is responsible for the day to day management of the restaurant and its staff. He ensures that the restaurant is suitably laid up for each service, working seamlessly with the kitchen and the rest of the hospitality team in order that the residents receive a five star restaurant service.
Paul Welch – Head of Hospitality
Paul’s role as Hospitality Manager means that he is responsible for ordering and maintaining stock levels for the restaurant and also for the hostess services to the Assisted Living Apartments. He has to ensure that rota ensures enough staff to run both the kitchen and the hostess service in the restaurant and assisted living. He maintains overall responsibility for health and safety and food hygiene procedures and ensuring that staff follow these at all times. He is the personal licence holder for the site, following the licencing laws and training other staff in these as appropriate. Paul is also responsible for the housekeeping and laundry function at the village, he also takes on a variety of other roles within the village, such as ensuring that IT and telephony is maintained at all times.
Sarah Robinson – Community Relations Manager
Sarah is responsible for maintaining community relations at Letcombe Regis, she attends networking events both at the village and in the wider community, promoting Richmond Villages. She is also responsible for ensuring that every new resident at the village has a smooth process to moving in day and assists with arrangements for move in day and in settling them into their new home over the next few weeks. This assists to make the upheaval of moving a smoother process for all concerned.
Sharon Hunt – Senior Village Adviser
Sharon’s role is responsible for the sales team at Letcombe Regis, she is involved in the sale of independent and assisted living properties as well as care beds. An important part of the role is networking and marketing the village within the local and wider community. Sharon manages the Richmond Retreats stays at Letcombe Regis, liaising with all relevant departments to ensure the village constantly looks at its best and that retreats visitors have a pleasant stay. She is the main point of contact regarding conveyancing with company solicitors and monitors all property sales within the village.
Shaun Davies – Head Chef
Shaun is responsible for the day to day running and management of the busy professional standard kitchen which services the restaurants, the café and room service delivery. This involves planning and preparing balanced, nutritious menus for residents (including lunch, evening meals and light options) using high quality fresh produce, and also catering for private dining functions and events. Shaun works with a team of Assistant Chefs who support him in the role in order that they can maintain quality and delivery at all times.
