Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning
Celebrations were underway at Gorseway recently when they joined in the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning on Hayling Island. General Manager Vanda Baker who welcomed residents, relatives, friends and Islanders said: "We opened our doors to assist to raise these much needed funds. Many people took an hour from their busy day to join us for coffee and home made cakes in aid of a very worthwhile cause." On the day we raised £145 through donations quiz and raffle but more money is still being donated.

Garden Fete
The Garden Fete was a great success this year, with its Caribbean theme and proceeds going towards a worthy charity, the First Responders. With preparations in place, the day was set to be an eventful one, and with the aid of a core group of staff at Gorseway Care, giving their time voluntary, some supportive members of the Hayling Island community and local business owners (whom donated a generous amount) all focus was set on delivering a thrilling day and raising as much money as possible for the First Responders.
