Cherry Blossom Manor

Bringing first-class care to Bramley Green
The newly opened Cherry Blossom Manor provides nursing and residential care services as well as personalised dementia care in one of Barchester's unique Memory Lane Communities. In addition, we have the facilities to care for younger people with physical disabilities.
The Memory Lane Community is specially designed for those living with a dementia using colour schemes that easily enable residents to identify areas within the home, yellow for dining areas for example. This area features life skills kitchens, where residents can be involved in everyday kitchen activities such as baking and setting the table.
Cherry Blossom Manor is designed to create a home-like feel with furnishings designed with older people in mind, from the sofas and chairs in the living rooms to the sculpted gardens. Throughout the home there is a range of communal and dining facilities to suit people who enjoy socialising as well as those who prefer quieter activities.
Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing.

Zoolab Visit!
Residents at Cherry Blossom Manor enjoyed a Zootastic afternoon when visited by creepy crawlies, slithering snakes and furry friendly four legged creatures. Cele the Activities Organiser arranged for a travelling Zoolab to visit our residents who were then able to experience getting up close and personal with all manor of animals and reptiles, some residents were enthusiastic about petting and handling the interesting visiting guests whilst others were confident to enjoy them from afar and without contact! Either way - it was a fun afternoon that brought something a little different to the activities for the week!

Harry the Bear was warmly welcomed to his new home!

Residents enjoyed a 'cracking' and 'sunny side up' Easter at Cherry Blossom Manor recently with an Easter Egg Treasure Hunt and Easter Bingo. Plans were 'hatched' to enjoy an eggcellent day with much 'yoking' around in looking for the Treasure Hunt clues whilst donning colourful and home-made Easter Bonnets! Beautiful tree decorations made by the residents were displayed in the coffee lounge for all to enjoy. It was an eggstrordinary day topped by a duck deciding to take up residency in the courtyard garden for the weekend - much eggscitment!
