Marple Dale wins at Great British Care Awards
Stephen Cockerline from Marple Dale, in Cheshire, was given 'The Care Home Worker Award'. Stephen was commended for consistently providing a high quality standard, for people living in residential care. Evidence of dedication, awareness of colleagues and career development through training were what the judges were looking for.

The organistation facilitation and management of all administrative functions throughout the Marple Dale care centre facility.
Hayley Haughton - Deputy Manager
Hayley deputises in the absence of the General Manager but also manages a Nursing & Care Team to ensure that resident care and professional practise is of the higest standard across the site.
Sarah Lydon - Clinical Nurse Manager
Sarah manages a Nursing & Care Team to ensure that resident care and professional practice is of the highest standard across the site.
Joanne Grange - Head of Unit
Responsible for managing the highest standard of care delivery to residents across the site.
Lorraine O'Donnell - Head of Unit
Responsible for managing the highest standard of care delivery to residents across the site.
Rachel Wood - Head of Unit
Responsible for managing the highest standard of care delivery to residents across the site.
Ruth Austin - Home Trainer
Ruth's role is to ensure that all staff members receive the highest level of in house and external training to equip them to care for a diverse group of residents.
Tony Westwood - Head Chef
Tony manages the large catering and hospitality function, ensuring that high standards of food and hospitality are provided.
Graham Earp - Head of Maintenance
Graham leads a team of maintenance staff who ensure that the building and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
Anita Freer - Social Life Team
The Social Life Team are responsible for the provision of a varied, interesting and stimulating programme of activities both on and off site. Geraldine Clarkson & Amy Ward are also part of the team.
