100th Birthday Celebrations
Mr Robert Dougall (Bob) was born on the 22nd January 1911, he was one of 5 children himself, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Bob left school at 13 to work at the pits with his father and brother. He worked at many pits until he was made redundant at the age of 62 working at Witworth colliery near Spennymoor in the north east. Bob enjoyed doing his allotments growing Chrysanthemums, tomatoes and leeks. Bob won several competitions at the Coundon working men's club, where he become an honouree member. He regularly went there with his relatives for pool and a flutter on the horses.

Sue is responsible for the day-to-day running and management of the care home.
Mark Culley - Deputy Manager
Assists the General Manager with the running of the home.
Trish Kilburn - Administrator
