Dementia Memory Walk
Appletree Grange residents, family, friends and staff recently undertook a Dementia Memory Walk from the home in Birtley, Tyne & Wear to the Durham Cricket Ground to help raise funds for their local Alzheimer's Society raising a total of £242.50. Lindsay Harding, Community Fundraising Support Officer for the North East & North West Alzheimer's Society, thanked the home for the donation, 'This is a truly wonderful donation and will go a long way towards helping people living with dementia and their carers. We really do appreciate your support'.
