Ivy's 100th Birthday

Ivy was 100 years old on March 30th - she had been a secretary with Wellcome research for 25 years and lived in South London all her life. The party was attended by friends and family and the Mayor of Lewisham - Sir Steve Bullock. The Mayor knelt to read the cards from the Queen and Iain Duncan Smith to Ivy and she cheekily asked him who the last lady he knelt for was! She feigned surprise when he said it was the Queen and told him that Bullock was a name to be lumbered with!

The Sound of Music

As part of the music celebrations held at Westwood House in June / July the residents enjoyed the visiting harpist who played a selection from Andrew Lloyd Webbers shows.
