Romanian Afternoon
The Romanian afternoon was a great success. Residents thanked Alina and all the staff that contributed to this event. They enjoyed the food and drinks. The presentation showed what a beautiful country Romania is and was very interesting. One of Southgate's residents said "I can see that Romanians know how to throw a party!"
Beaver Scouts sing for Southgate Beaumont residents
The local Beaver Scout group visited the residents of Southgate Beaumont. They hand made Christmas cards and gave them out. They wore Christmas hats to get us in the spirit and sang "We wish you a merry Christmas and Jingle Bells" The residents thought they were adorable and gave them a hearty round of applause.
Violin Concert
Claudio Forcada Studio is based in Finchley. Claudio is a violin teacher trained in the Suzuki method and Kato Havas' New Approach and he and some of his friends and students played a beautiful concert for us. The residents were transfixed and there was hardly a dry eye in the house. The residents loved it some much that Claudio promised they will perform for us again soon.
The Southgate Beaumont's Bonfire Party
Started with a fascinating talk on the history of the Titanic and there were artefacts to have a look at too. We were then entertained in the Garden with fire dancing with fire poi, fire fans and fire eating! It was great to watch. Drinks were served in the Terrace lounge and Sorcha showed us the art of contact juggling with crystal balls. We were all amazed and some were brave enough to try. Supper was lovely and finished with a lovely apple pie and custard.
Carers Pamper Day
Southgate Beaumont presents a Pamper Day in conjunction with The Enfield Carers Centre to Celebrate Carers of Enfield and all the hard work they do. This will take place on Sat 20th Aug from 11.30am to 3.30pm. with a light refreshments break betweem 1pm to 1.30pm. Treatments include Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Manicures & Pedicures. Taster session will cost £5 We will also be holding a raffle and all money raised will go the Carers of Enfield Centre. For more information contact Samantha on 0208 882 9222

Marla keeps everything relating to administration on track and is a great support to all the staff in ensuring the home runs smoothly.

Eva is passionate about ensuring the home keeps our five star dining award and that the rooms and apartments are presented to the highest standard.
Alina Bucurescu - Deputy Manager
Alina is the Deputy Manager and Home Trainer. She ensures that the staff are supported to maintain clinical care and keep up to date with professional development.
Reception Staff - Reception
The first person you will speak to during office hours will be Vin, one of our two friendly reception staff who welcomes visitors to the home every day before helping them find the person they need most.
Steve Harrison - Maintenance Manager
Steve is very experienced in home maintenance, ensuring that Southgate is presented in the best light as well as ensuring all equipment and safety checks are maintained to Care Quality standards.
Kimberley Mathura - Activities Coordinator
Kimberley is our enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator filling most days with a wide range of things to do, see, visit and enjoy.
Samantha Neil - Home Services Advisor
My role is to look after enquiries to the home regarding the services we offer such as Respite, Residential and Nursing Care and Independent Living flats. I introduce families to The Southgate Beaumont and show them around our wonderful home. I'm here to give information and offer advice to new residents and their families on the most appropriate type of care. I also work closely with Health Care Professionals and local support groups within the community.
