Welcome to the warm and friendly atmosphere of Tixover House
Our home is easily accessible from Oakham,Stamford, Oundle,Corby and surrounding villages; also the Village Connect bus service takes you straight to Tixover’s front door.
Our home is situated at the heart of the Tixover Estate, surrounded by 14 acres of beautiful country side. There are over fifty homes on the estate, and we are an interactive rural community with well-maintained gardens, and breathtaking views. One of the favourites spots to enjoy afternoon teas and entertaining discussions is the little summer house that overlooks the fields.
Our residents are cared for by a friendly team of experienced and well-trained nurses and care staff. We encourage residents to maintain their own interests and hobbies whilst making individual choices to better their lifestyle within the home. Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person.
Our full-time activities co-ordinator, Elaine, is very committed to all of our residents and plans the days to be full of fun activities and events. Recent activities have included sailing on Rutland Water, breakfast at a truckers’ café and Evensong at Peterborough Cathedral
Meals are prepared daily, using locally-sourced fresh ingredients by our award winning chef, Szymon, who dedicates a lot of time and effort to ensure an enjoyable experience during their meals.
We have a strong sense of community within our home, and are able to provide assistance for residential needs as well as care for people with nursing needs including dementia and Alzheimer’s. We think you'll find we're ideally suited to meet your needs now and in the future to ensure you get the most from your retirement years.

Gardening at Tixover
Residents enjoyed getting stuck in the with spring gardening activities at Tixover with potting lots of colourful flowers around the home and in the garden. Our residents love gardening and being out in the fresh air, it's a pleasure to see them enjoying themselves with smiles all round.
