It was a great honor to be asked to open the facility with Flight Lieutenant Ken Trent, and it was a lovely ceremony and superb function. Time Capsule
We set a competition for 75 children from Bel Royal School to come up with ideas for a items to be placed in a time capsule, we choose 6 winners that came up with some great ideas: 1 Jersey £1.00 note 2 Postcard of The Royal Square 3 What's on in Jersey Feb Issue (Booklet) 4 Jersey Postage Stamp 5 A photograph of Lakeside Village under construction 6 Front page of the local Jersey evening post The children each received a £10.00 Gift Card and the School received £100.00 book vouchers. Although it was a bitterly cold day the children were extremely pleasant and obliging.
