Overview
As you walk through our front door you'll receive a warm welcome and a cup of tea. Our reception area is a favourite place for many of our Residents to meet and enjoy a chat, so there'll probably be some laughter too. Tixie, our cat will be curled up on someone's knee, and a member of our friendly team will be happy to show you around our home.
Our home is rated ‘Excellent' by the Commission of Social Care Inspection (CSCI). CSCI is the independent body that regularly inspects all care homes in England. Services and facilities
We aim to deliver the highest quality of care, offering a variety of services and facilities. These include regular visits from representatives from our local churches, a wide range of activities and also the services of a hairdresser, chiropodist and optician. Our General Manager and the rest of our team are happy to help organise arrange any additional services that you may require.

Location
Tixover House is situated in the heart of rural Rutland. We are part of a small community which includes Tixover Grange, and several attractive stone cottages. Our lounge area looks out over fields, and Residents enjoy bird watching and strolls around the grounds.

Travelling by car
Take the A47 to Leicester, cross the A43 roundabout (to Stamford & Kettering). Pass Duddington village on the left, after one mile, arrive at the Tixover crossroads, with Tixover Village on the left, and Tixover House & Grange on the right. Turn right and follow the single track lane for one mile, turn right into Tixover House.
