Barchester triumphs at top awards

With no less than five finalists in the Wales Care Awards 2007, Barchester Healthcare had a night to remember at the prestigious Care Forum Wales event held on Friday 2 November. Diane Hanson, Sister on the elderly frail unit at The Rhallt Care Home in Welshpool received the “excellence in Palliative Care Award. The glittering award ceremony was held at City Hall, Cardiff. These were the fifth annual awards held by Care Forum Wales to recognise the achievements of workers in the care profession throughout Wales. The event was compered by BBC Wales presenter Sian Lloyd.
