Overview

Billingham Grange is one of the few Independent Hospital services in the North East that caters for people with young onset dementia and behaviour that challenges. It is registered with the Health Care Commission and patients are admitted on an informal or formal basis under the 1983 Mental Health Act. The multi-disciplinary team works in collaboration with patients, their families and community agencies to develop effective treatment programmes for individuals.

Services and facilities

Patients have access to a variety of services and facilities including occupational therapy, chiropody, dentist and optician. Patients also benefit from our holistic approach to care with alternative therapies available in our multi-sensory room which provides stimulating and relaxing fibre optic `snoozlem' therapy. Specialist equipment is also provided to enhance quality of life. We are committed to providing high quality clinical care in a stimulating environment.
