Barchester care home receives 'good' rating
07/04/2008
An east Yorkshire-based care home has received a "good" rating from the national regulator.

A Barchester Healthcare care home has received a top award from the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

The Beaumont Stamford Bridge care home in east Yorkshire was recently awarded a "good" rating from the national regulator for the care it gives its residents, reports the York Press.
This follows news that 92 per cent of its residents deemed it a happy place to live in research conducted by Barchester Healthcare.

Beaumont Stamford Bridge general manager Helen Lewis told the newspaper: "We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care at Beaumont Stamford Bridge, and we respect and celebrate the individuality of all of our residents.

"This rating and the customer ratings come as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at the home."

Beaumont Stamford Bridge care home provides accommodation for up to 107 residents with a wide range of needs.

Staff at the home were recently treated to a Valentines-themed awards ceremony to celebrate their hard work and achievements over the past year.

The event was organised by Ms Lewis, as a way to thank staff for 'going the extra mile'.
