We provide first-class 24-hour nursing care alongside specialist care for people with dementia in our Memory Lane Community.
Our team of highly-qualified and dedicated staff really focus on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person.
And our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality and organising activities for our residents.
Paternoster House is a purpose-built care home. We're situated in 5 acres of land and surrounded by woods. and an orchard. on the edge of Waltham Abbey, an historic market town on the river Lea, just minutes from the M25.

Our home is rated ‘Good' by the Commission of Social Care Inspection (CSCI). CSCI is the independent body that regularly inspects all care homes in England. Services and facilities
We aim to deliver the highest quality of care with access to a variety of services and facilities including hairdressing, chiropody, dentist, optician, physiotherapy and alternative therapy. There are also regular visits from representatives of different religions. Our Home Manager is happy to help organise any additional services that you may require.

Location
In its semi-rural location on the outskirts of Waltham Abbey, Paternoster House gets the best of both worlds; plenty of local amenities yet within easy reach of Epping, London and the beautiful Connaught Waters. The natural setting of Paternoster House is nevertheless minutes from the M25 bypass, three miles from Waltham Cross, which has a large shopping centre and main rail links into London.

Travelling by car
Paternoster House is a half mile from Junction 26 on the M25, situated along Paternoster Hill, which is a continuation of the Upshire Road, Waltham Abbey.

Travelling by rail
Waltham Cross Rail Station is situated approximately 3 miles from Paternoster House. The bus 251 will take you from the Station to Upshire, passing Paternoster House on its route.
