New unit at Llys y Tywysog

The new palliative care unit at Llys y Tywysog has been officially opened by Dr Dai Lloyd AM. The unit has 6 luxury en-suite bedrooms for the use of patients with life limiting illnesses and members of their families. Each room has patio doors leading out onto a decked area with easy access to the courtyard.
The unit has been named Ty Brynlliw by staff member Christine Pitman following an in-house competition. Christine was presented with flowers and gift vouchers by Dr Lloyd.
Following a tour of the new unit, invited guests enjoyed a light buffet and entertainment.
