Strawberry tea in the pink

Badgeworth Court was in the pink on Tuesday 17 June as residents, staff and visitors enjoyed a lovely strawberry tea in aid of breast cancer. The preparations began in earnest the day before as some of the residents and activities staff went to pick strawberries at a local farm. One resident even experienced a helicopter flight. On the day itself, the sun shone as everyone arrived wearing something pink and enjoyed a feast of strawberries and cream. The following day, the staff armed themselves with buckets and sponges and set up a car wash. The grand total raised from the strawberry tea, raffle and car wash was £323.11. This event was also in conjunction with the Breath of Fresh Air Week competition for NAPA. Well Done!
