St Trinian's fun at Awel y Mor

It was back to school for staff, residents and their families at Awel y Mor as for one day only it became a centre of mischief and mayhem. Old school ties, black stockings and straw boaters were the uniform of the day for the St Trinian's themed BBQ and disco.

The event was arranged by the full-time activities team to coincide with the release of the new St Trinian's film on DVD.  Ruth Lloyd, General Manager said "As a care centre for young physically disabled people it is important that our activities reflect this. Our residents and their families have had a really good time - we want them to enjoy themselves just like anyone else of their age. The staff have embraced the whole theme too, though thankfully there hasn't been a riot!"
