11/04/2008
Atfield House residnts enjoy the St Patrick's day festivities.

Residents at the Atfield House care home in Isleworth, Middlesex, which is part of the Barchester Healthcare group, were treated to a day filled with quality food and entertainment this St Patrick's day.

On March 17th the residents were joined by students from the nearby Gumley House Convent School, who donned traditional Irish dress and performed a jig, much to the residents' delight.
Embracing the theme of all things Irish, lunch featured a number of traditional Irish foods and was followed by a good old song and dance among the residents.

This is the latest in a series of themed events held at Barchester Healthcare care homes throughout the UK.

The Westwood House care home in Sydenham recently held a spring sale to raise money for its residents' fund and treated staff to a romance-themed Valentine's Day which featured a 'heart throb' quiz and a performance by a swing singer.
