Overview

A brand new, purpose-built care home, Alice Grange is located in Kesgrave on the outskirts of Ipswich; with good road links to the A12 and A14 trunk roads. Nearby towns include Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, Martlesham Heath and Colchester. This care home is close to the beautiful East Anglian coast line with many Blue Flag beaches.

We provide first-class 24-hour nursing care alongside specialist care for those with dementia in our Memory Lane Community. We also provide care for younger people with a physical disability; and respite and palliative care.

In addition to the above, we have Assisted Living studios which vary in size and offer a level of independence - some have an area in which to entertain guests and serve light snacks. They are fully furnished and have the benefits of; en-suite toilet and shower, full laundry and housekeeping and meals are hostess-served in the residents' dining room.

Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person.

Services and facilities

We are a purpose built home, providing first class facilities, interior décor and care of the highest standard. Each resident has their own tailored care plan based on their own individual needs and preferences. All rooms have en-suite toilet and shower, full laundry and housekeeping and meals are hostess served in the residents' dining room.
We have a first floor balcony overlooking the garden with specialist Sensory Garden for Memory Lane residents. There are small intimate lounge areas for residents to socialise, outside seating with dining tables where they can enjoy our maturing gardens. We also have the benefit of an on-site Hairdressing Salon.

Location

Alice Grange is built adjacent to the former home of a local lady Alice Jolly whose family once owned the surrounding land. She is fondly remembered for the hours of charity work she devoted to the local community.
Kesgrave is on the outskirts of Ipswich, with good road links to the A12 and A14 trunk roads. We are close to the beautiful East Anglian coast line with many Blue Flag beaches. The wonderful Suffolk countryside and Constable Country are on our doorstep.

Travelling by car
Alice Grange is a short distance off the A1214 close to its junction with the A12 at Martlesham Heath. This provides access to the A12 to London/Norwich and cross country via the A14 and its links to the M11 and M1 motorways.

Travelling by rail
The nearest railway station is Ipswich, it is on the main line London Liverpool Street to Norwich route. There are also cross country services between Ipswich and Cambridge. The home is a 15 minute taxi ride from the railway station; the ‘route 66’ bus service also picks up at the station and stops outside the home.
