Care home nears completion

Kesgrave Town Council Chairman John Briggs led the celebrations at Alice Grange care as it reaches completion at a commemorative topping out ceremony.
He was joined by other local town council officals and the grandson of the former Kesgrave resident who once owned the farmland on which the new building sits, to unveil a Suffolk Punch and plough weathervain.
The Suffolk Punch, an endangered breed of horse - immortalised in the art of Gainsborough - was once one of the working animals on Alice Jolly's Grange Farm, and is to become a lasting symbol of the new home.
